Hey everyone..finnaly got my typhoon intake in today..just thought id post a few words about it..

well pretty much all the talk about this intake be all that..it pretty much is all that..the car has a new set of lungs and sounds like a v6. acceleration in 1-2 have GREATLY increased..i never could squeel the tires like i can now in those gears..and in 4-5 i have noticed huge acceleration from low speeds (40 KM's in 4th). the sound this intake gives is something else..everyone around u knows your there..the car totaly sounds different and mean..

the only downside i had to this was the installation..K&N didnt do a very good job on giving the right parts and instructions and how to do things (Heat striping for the heat shield omg soooo annoying)

all in all i am very impressed with my intake and am very happy i went with this one..i now have the loudest 2.4 in the city and now one of the fastest..very impressed..thumbs up to KN and thumbs up to anyone else who wants to get this intake..its really good!

over winter im going to work on getting all this air flow out of my car lol so most likley going exahust..once i graduate from high school in summer and get my goverment job im debating going all out 2.4/na or going rite to a turbo

 

Wait till you get the exhaust and header; you'll really love the sound then!

i want a exhaust and header that sounds beefy not ricey..what would u suggest? this mean magnaflow is OUT OF THE QUESTION! lol, becuase i really enjoy the sound of my intake i dont want my exhaust to override it..what do u suggest?

 

it all depends on how much you love your car? Do you want a daily driver or weekend warrior, my car is both... I baby it through the week and drive it like I stole it on the weekend=)

Oh yeah I would like to see some pics of your car.... I've never seen a ss/na met. orange sounds sweet... is your interior two toned also?

 

trust me man...i thought it was going to be to loud..but it really does sound nice..ill grab the camcoarder and make a video later tonite..

well i just did a little bit of filming in my garage..tried to go on the road but the camcorder fell lol..so later tontie ill get a friend to help film

I am very sure that there is a STICKY posts about intakes at the top of the Forums. Use it. Also, i dont think that it is a good idead to "squeel" your tires. There is something that drives those tires that is more than likely what is "screaming" but if you want to break it, please go right ahead and do so.

Lol, yes. i thought it sounded like a lawn mower. But its much different inside the car.

I have my digital camera back. So i will takea vide of it with that and i hope it has better quality. WHat can you expect from a cell phone?

thanks man, that sounds better, still unsure if I like it or not but atleast it's better quality now so I can judge better.

sounds a bit fart cannish but well.. not bad either, and if there are indeed gains, might have to buy one next spring!
