Are you saying it's not possible that rims add to performance?

Every pound of unsprung mass you remove is equivalent of ~10lbs sprung mass from the car.

I'd say by saving 5lbs on each corner, i added a good bit of performance.

Someone let me know if my math is off.

Ok dude, what suspension set up are you running, i really need to know. you COTM **** says TC struts/shocks and pedders, and something to adjust camber in the rear.

Im not arguing with that AT ALL. Light rims will add performance. im just trying to figure out why u think DI is not possible if gm doesnt do all the work for you.

wtf? I never said DI didn't help performance, just that its not a viable upgrade option without a full transplant or all kinds of custom work. Besides, he wasn't asking about using DI, but just the upgraded head +VVT on his car. It's not going to work was my point. Nothing wrong with thinking, but questions beget answers.

He asked if he could use an LNF head on his car, You understood that it wouldnt be possible without a direct injection swap. I dont see why it would be that hard. The only PITA would be getting a computer that could correctly inject the fuel.

Dude i understand you have a lot of nut huggers on this site. But just cause you have a bunch of people that will go on a limb to back you up doesnt make you right.

the nuthuggers do not have anything to do with it. The LNF ECM has very specific calibrations to control the advanced fuel and VVT systems. To use the LNF head, you would need to incorporate the DI and LNF ECM. Simply put, not cost effective.

End of story.

You criticized my suspension/wheel setup as well for no apparent reason. You were wrong on all counts.

WTF? Ok here, your wheels are ugly, its cool they're light. Ur rear suspension intrigues me, i wanna know how you get a camber adjustment with a torsion beam. But i know you have something different back there.
