Meth set up

Since were having knock issues cus I can only get 91 octane in AZ I'm gonna get a meth set up my questions are if I run a 50/50 set up do I need to retune for the meth set up or is it like putting race fuel in and the injectors with scale them self with more air

Vince will need to retune you because you will be able to up the boost and hopefully some timing as well.

Let me just qualify what everyone else is saying - you need to retune to realize the full benefit of the water/methanol injection. That is, if you want to increase boost and/or timing advance.

If you are getting KR because of bad/low octane gas, you can install the water/meth and watch teh KR go away without retuning - you don't have to retune for the octane increase/benefit. You may notice your AFR get slightly richer but the car will generally run better because of consistently low charge temps and increased octane.

Just make sure you choose a nozzle size appropriate for your power output and desired mixture (50/50 from what you said). 5gph or so should really help you out.

I have mine under the floor panel like how you tuck speak wires. The lines are pretty stiff like hard to squish so I figured they'd be fine under there

Behind the pedal you'll see a little circle rubber plug thing I took it out grabbed a screw driver and poked a hole thought the plastic/rubberize stuff and ran it through there.
