motor cutting out in 2nd gear!! Any ideas

hi guys new to the forum, whats up. I installed a Tusudo catback exhaust and injen intake on my 07 SS non S/C. Everything else is bone stock. When floored in 2nd the motor cuts out for a split second its just annoying im not worried about this problem but was wondering if theres a cure. Im pretty sure its due to the intake not to sure i installed both at once without driving it first. Thanks in advance. (There is a CEL on code p1072 rich fuel ratio) not worried about the light either but is there a was to shut it off

no its been doing it the same for the past 2 months dosent seem to be getting any worse. my only idea is the computer is shutting off the fuel for some reason due to the extra air coming in from the intake but that dosent make sence it seems like it would be wantin more fuel to compensate

hmmm??? and it doesnt throw any kinda code? maybe check your mass air flow sensor. Is it due for any kinda tune up? spark plugs, fuel filter maybe. How many miles do you have on yours?

I have had mine do that a few times, found immediately when I looked down at my DIC it showed the "traction" message...
dunno if that has happened to anyone, or this helps you at all

Have you scanned for stored codes or pending codes?

If not you could have some DTCs stored that would help you diagnose your problem.

traction control is on the right hand side of the wheel, it looks like little swerve marks...
when its off the light on your DIC will light up
