hey man if you wet the header wrap it will cling to the header and stick alot better..don't soak it with the water hose just make it damp and start the car and let it steam off...thats what i did the wrap I used on my motorcycle header

 

I have a Vibrant H/DP and due to a broken cat it is temp catless..took about ~40 miles before the CEL came on.

 

off topic how do u gut out the cat?

 

take a small long piece of pipe, metal rod, screwdriver and a hammer and knock the inside of it out.. It will come out in small pieces and look like concrete with small tiny holes in it..

nope probably not going to pass inspection...but you will still have the visual effects of the stock Converter so they could look under your car and see that you do have a converter, but they dont have to know that it has been punched out..They may give ya problems, or they may not care and pass ya anyways..lol

 

did the d/p connect to you stock cat back without fabrication?

 

yeah the 2 bolt set up bolted right up... im going to be putting my catback on sunday and if it still sounds like **** im going to weld the stock dp's resonator back in

lol the car sounds like ****!! if anybody heard it under WOT after 4k its terrible so i think that cat back will work out if not ill weld a cat on the DP

Had mine on for about a day (few days ago) until I had to take it off. Going by the proper vin # it said it should bolt right up to, it didn't. Had to widen the three left most holes for it to fit. The second o2 sensor was not givin enough room, could had some been my fault installing it but I could not remedy the problem, but it was basically trying to ram itself through the frame. Sounded like ****, and build quality was not the greatest so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Just letting people know of the problems that might occur. BTW anyone wanna buy it? lol

 

lol theres hardly enough room for my o2 i had to bang the sheetmetal out of the way... i hope itll sound better without my lunchbox and an actuall muffler
