New 2.4L modded 1/4 mile times!

went to the local track today. some back story...

at the same track a year ago i ran 15.45 stock, i have gone back several times and dont countless amounts of runs and have never ever been able to beat this time, even with periodicly gaining more mods (intake, exhaust so forth) however i also recived some imparing factors to my vehicle (blown allingment since winter due to curb damage) that has hindered my performance

so today i went there to beat this record, and fustration set in fast.

my current setup is a KN sri intake, clear image 2.5 header/downpipe combo with a 2.5-2.25 stock piping/flo pro res/flo pro exhaust customly put together to make my catless downpipe not sound like ass. the hinderings i have is a blown allingment to the left ( waiting for my steering knuckle to arrive) and no tune (CEL is on for rear 02 sensor, my car runs very very rich in third gear, due to cat-over heat protection because the CEL is on, due to no cat obviously)

it was a cool day with a good tailwind, but the track was noticeably "Shitty" as people where again like always not running good times they have ran before (a common thing with our shitty track that doesnt let FWD cars run in grooves)

so the first 4-6 runs where all 15.45-15.55, my 60 ft's where all 2.6 and remarkbly i was trapping less then my previous setup of Muffler/intake. i was trapping 92's all day, when before i would see traps of 96 so i proceeded to get down on myself and my car.

however, my luck would turn around, on one run i did a awesome launch lowering my 60 ft to 2.4 and ended up getting a 15.33 at 92 MPH, a happy day over all and finally broke the curse of 15.45

Good run man, just think how much faster you'll be with the tune.

my allingment pulling hard to the left has to be my reasoning on it, because when i was stock (getting 15.45) i had 2.4 60' foot

damn canada sucks for good times, but nice work, get it tuned and fix the alignment and you will be hitting high 14s.

u were trapping 96mph before? seems a little too high for the mods u you only used to have when u got it.

I must get bad luck at my track, 0ft elevation, 2.2 60 foot but i only got a 15.6 @ 88mph

I trapped 93.8 on my 15.1 pass, so 96 and slower then 15.3s doesn't seem right.
