New Best time!
Tonight was the last 1/4 mile drag racing for the year and I went out on a good note.
It was rather cool but that doesn't help traction! As I soon found out. Got some terrible 60ft times....2.7-2.8!! Which resulted in 16.8-16.6!!! I was getting very frustrated!
Got back to the 2.5 60ft times and got a pair of 16.5s.
Then on the last run I got a 16.2! (old best was a 16.3) So that = a 15.4@ sea-level.
Still with the lousy 2.5 60ft times.
Oh and cut a few nice lights too
0.06 and 0.055
Maybe next year with synthetic, a CAI and more broken in engine I can do a bit better.

A 15.4 is great! Calgarys elevation is 3200ft BUT the actaul air conditions (density altitude) is over 5000ft. This adds 0.8 of time to sea-level
It is a 5 speed BTW--only way to go

nice time man, here on guam i've been to the track once and my best time was a 16.1@86mph with a 2.7 60ft. (I know, that sucks real bad, but launching a 2.4ltr with goodyear all seasons is extremely hard). we figured out all the math and at a normal place closer to sea level and with not so much damn humidity, i would have ran a 15.3!!! So i know what you mean by horrible conditions relates to horrible times. plus i need new tires.
