I was driving on my way to work in steady traffic and I was in 4th gear going about 45mph and the rpm gauge was only at around 2200-2500. All of a sudden my car back fires 3 times and I'm talkin 3 loud pops. The car then lets out this funny smell for about 30 seconds and goes back to normal. Can still shift gears as normal and still has normal pull. Any ideas?

 

interesting. i would do a compression test just for ***** and giggles but seeing as your not to modded you should be alright.... thts kinda strange.

No I am not tuned, Just Injen cold air intake and GMPP full exhaust for right now.
