it depends...

if your running a aftermarket cat back it might be okay with out a cat

if your running a stock cat back then i would highly suggest buying a cat and having it welded in..

its a loud set up reguardless .... so if you do get a catback this header and dp will be loud with or with out a cat... i changed back to a lsj dp and it made it alot quieter but i also added a resonator ... im sure that just the dp made it alot quieter and the resonator just helped out in the hi revs

Ehh, well they are an "eBay" brand. I wouldn't trade my Vibrant in for it.

idk ive showed this piece to alot of ppl and they are amazed at the welds on it... the quality is there ...sometimes its not always about the name brands. but either way i would never pay 650 dollars for a header and dp

try searching for reviews on different cars because other types of cars have more popularity with obx

I have an obx header and downpipe and i noticed a diffrence in acceleration. Plus i dont have a cat on it and its loud. I am in the process of getting a high flow cat and welding it in. That then eliminates the rear O2 hole. So your going to have to make a new hole then reinstall the oxygen sensor.

no because the flex pipe is at the top for a reason and the flange that connects to the header has like a 15 degree angle on the way it mates

well the flex piece needs to be at that point.. becuase that is where the flex occurs under engine movement.. you could get a smaller flex pipe like run on most other dp's (ca, zzp etc) and then put the cat up there but its pretty tight to have someone weld up there.. the cheaper way is just to put it on the horizontal part of the downpipe and call it a day..

they make good products, I haven't ever had a problem with them when I bought stuff for my previous cars. But they are one of the cheapest brands on the market.

Most say you get what you pay for, so keep that in mind.

But I have yet to hear bad things about OBX.
