Thumbs down point me in right direction

ok as u guys kno my engine blew soo im in neeed of an le5 engine anyone have any ideas where to find one?

Local wrecking yard may have one. A new one is gonna be big $$ best bet is going to different wrecking yards for a used one.

try looking in a n/a cobalt ss or in a cobalt sport or possibly in a g5 gt prior to 09.

Why would you look for another motor if the one you had blew? Here is my advice, take your losses and buy a different platform. Because you will have more losses down the road. Unless of course you plan on keeping the cobalt as a daily driver, and keep mods to a minimum.

After reading your mods I'm not sure how you blew it. What psi were you running? Could it be your tune that fucked you up?

heck yea..that scares me.. i got 60s and a gt30r running 10psi.. wtf man. how'd u blow it?

ya im pretty sure it was the tune somthign happend with the spark plug in cyl 4 i donno if it had to much fuel or to less bc my afr was back in fourth

try contacting mallet corvette racing. there located in berea ohio.they were doing soltice ls1 swaps when they had those motors in them. they might have one stuffed in a corner or something

I'd never trust a local shop with tuning an ecotec motor. I'd rely on someone like hahn or zzp. People that tune and test these motors religiously and produce reliable kits. Who did you buy from? I want to know for my own sake

no i was not making at wot it just acted funny then oil shot all over the right side of engine and whats that mallet racing number?

ok ill tell u guys about this me and my friend were looking at it how it happend was that the tune went bad which caused oil to shoot from a pressurized place from the right side or the engine were the tb and intake was i was sced by the way then we also notice my engine was pulling no compression in cyl 2 and 4 wat do u guy think happend i got some remarks that it was the compression rings need some input here thanks
