Question question for those with the hahn kit

just wondering what kinda supporting/traction mods u guys did to compensate for the new found power. also, looking at the piping on the kit, i was wondering if any of u guys have a strut bar installed because it looks like at best it would be a tight fit.

thanks

If you are an auto, instead of the shift plus find someone taht can tune the tranny for you. From what I've heard so far, its far better then B&M shift plus.

Engine and tranny mounts seem to be a good route for traction, and probably a better suspension wouldn't hurt if you take it to the track. A lot of guys buy some really nice Drag radials, there are numerous posts about those as well.

Hahn gives a canned tune with the kit, its pretty much just to get you running.... Somewhat safely. You still need to get tuned better.

Correction, Hahn's tune ONLY works for manuals. Auto's need to tune there car VIA Trifeca or LS2edit. Ive owned the kit since march and have about 19k miles on it. Only thing that was REALLY needed was a new clutch. Otherwise you can run a 100% stock car and be fine. I do how ever have tranny mounts and will be getting a motor mount once i free up some bills. All in all, for the money this kit is amazing and very very well built. Also i cant complain about the tune as its very safe and i am happy with my numbers

well i dont live too too far from where hahn is located. would take me maybe 3-4 hours to drive there so couldnt i just have them tune it? and yes, im auto so i would prolly try and get a nice trans tune. i heard that the axels should be swapped out too? and how about the rear sway bar and the strut bar? im pretty sure i have enough money for all of this, i just dont wanna half-ass it. i like to get it all done at once

wrong. hahns tune worked fine on my auto but it needed some fine tuning in my own area.

You should just keep the hp tuners tune for the tranny. I have no suspension mods as of yet.
