rev limiter..... = gay

I've got the gay-ass auto(parents wouldn't let me get a manual, im 17)

is there a way I can get my car to not limit revs to 4k in park and neutral without getting a new chip or anything...???? (I recently put my K&N intake on and plan on getting new header and dp and would love to rev my car into high rpms everynow and then to be a show off.)

I know about cars more then most people(my age)but this problem escapes my knowledge.

1) In auto Cavy's you could hold the shifter between park and reverse and you were free to rev as high as you want... try it in your Cobalt.

2) Why do you need to rev in park/neutral anyway.

you don't have the slightest idea what you're doing if you think you need to rev past 4k in park or neutral.

guys.
I am not saying I am going to do it but maybe once or twice.lol
I was just curious to see if there was a simple way to get that rev limiter off...

I am in a car club and when I go to a show they require us to rev it while stationary for certain things.

I probably wont even need to do it. considering I have better things to do than go to car shows. (Like earn money to pay for the **** Im gonna put on my car. lol

Sounds like a gay car club "Hey mike lets make tony rev his car to make sure everything is cool, but Jon what if he blows his motor, mike hes only going to rev to 7000 and bounce off limiter a couple times. oh okay

lol yeah. i am only in it because my bro was in it and he kinda told me I was joinin.. I never do anything with them....

and it isn't the club that is telling me to rev it, it is the competition judge...

^I am payin for it btw..... but whatever that isn't relevant....^

and Im not doing any hardcore mods. just basic bolt-ons. intake and exhaust.... ooooo! crazy
