has any one heard of the rs4 performance chip, and if you have is it good because i found one for $70 and it says it improves hp by 50 and torque by 50 and 8 mpg

It's a capacitor in a box that tricks your afr...You could make this for $2 at radioshack, if it was worth $2 blowing your engine with no increased performance. All of these kinds of "chips" are on ebay and in my opinion they all need to be shut down for fraud. I'm sure a few engines have grenaded because of these.

be careful with buying things on fleabay...if it sounds too good to be true then it most likely is.
