i run a 2.8, dual pass, option b, zzp s3, phenolic spacer, k&n intake, badmab 3" header, zzp 3" catted dp that reduces to a 2.5, borla catback. no idea what the car makes power wise now or what it runs on the track

IDK, i dont want to spend a ton of money. id just buy a whole 2.4 for $400, take what i need an part the rest out. car has 192K on it, so i would like to do the motor, a fresher trans (my 2nd gear syncro is going) and i have a stage 2 excedy ready to go. If i can i would liek to find a wrecked one and take the sibframe, build the whole setup on that, swap them out and put all my suspension on afterwards. kinda like a mini resto to be sure i only have it apart once.

Sweet. I was looking at picking up a extra engine also so I can build it and not have my car down...but I'm having some extra unexpected expenses come up that won't allow me to do that. 192k is a lot....I thought my engine was old and its at 79k lol

lol yeah with as hard as i drive it, im happy with how long she has held up. likei said the syncro is starting to show wear, qucik 1-2 shifts grind.

i have noticed that Oil Pressure at operating temp has dropped about 10 PSI from when i put the guage in 3-4 years ago. it is what it is. i also get a bit of a knock/tick when i start it up after it sits for longer than a day.

like i said id like ot build it on the side while im driving it, so i can just take a week or so to swap it all out and make her scream again!
