sri vs cai..
Hey guys,
So, I've been considering going back to SRI for a little bit now.. I have an Injen intake. I've used it as an SRI since the day I got it (4 years ago) up until probably this past summer. I also threw a K&N cone on it.. I like the gain it gives, and I like the noise it makes, but I'm considering just going back to SRI for gain of simplicity when working down there, but also because mine squeaks a tiny bit on the CAI mount point.. Dunno.. See, I cut out this little air vent thing in my wheel well (like some cars have OEM) for flow. I like it. But I don't know if it'd be worth it to have it down there for what, a half an hp? Is the gain really that significant from running CAI vs SRI? I know there is a slight gain in top-end, but you actually lose low-end with a CAI, correct? So then you'd gain low-end and lose slight high-end with the SRI, correct? Also, will the intake be louder as an SRI or a CAI?
Thanks!
