just race till you both top out right around 110 the wrx is slow compared to a fwd or rwd car.one friend of mine has a wrx and another has a auto ls1 camaro the wrx kills him up to 100 and then around 120 the ls1 passes him like hes sitting still

read sig, you will need a turbo and supercharger to compete then weight reduction and furthur more all the bolt ons you can afford, or just spray. sorry to say he has the advantage from the start now you will play catch up. Hopefully your pocekt book it a lot deeper

you wont beat a wrx and its going to take a lot to catch him, esspecially because your auto. if you dont want to use spray, i dont know why you wouldnt, then it will take a higher compression pistons, cams, and high octane gas and you might stand a chance.

Why would you race from 0-110 or 120 if none of the cars involved trap that high????

why race at all if they don't trap the same speed?

How about both of them race to their trap speeds and who ever hits the breaks first wins!!

WRXs trap under 100 and SS/SCs usually trap around 100, so why you would you race to 110 and 120 or even further from a DIG?!?!?!? There is NO REASON to other than to be idiots.

Well for one this guy has a 2.4 ss so he wont be trapping near 100mph. So the only reason to race up to 120 is if you trap that high? lol. 120 is dangerous on a public road no matter what your driving be it a 15 sec cobalt or an 11 sec corvette z06 (that does trap in the 120's). But if the road is clear of people not involved in the race then I don't see why not run it to 110 ~120mph range. It's not like the cars aren't equipped to run at those speeds.

That is what I am saying there is no reason to go that fast, if your car doesn't trap that fast. Just because they are capable of going that fast doesn't mean they should or are safe too.

what does it matter where they trap?? are you saying that if it's not a 1/4 run it's not worth it?

Basically, if you are racing from a dig why would you race pass a 1/4 mile????

I guess I forgot what site I was on, it's all about roll racing and racing like idiot ricers on this site.

dude, get off your high horse and go watch fast and furious again... there's more racing than 1/4 runs... races are not always planned out... sometimes you see someone next to you, you get that look, and you gun it... so the way you would do it is to pull the person over, explain to them that you want to race, but only a 1/4 mile... so, then you stop on the middle of the highway, get ready, and give it a good go! way to go buddy

All of my races are planned out. They are never on a highway. You one of the ricer idiots I just described above, racing to dumass speeds on highways and from street light to street light. Way to have no clue what you are talking about, buddy.
