Stock 2.4 injectors
speakin about injectors....do you get any more horsepower puttin bigger injectors on... or is the only reason you put bigger injectors in is if u turbo your car or supercharge it or do some massive upgrades.
no power gain. You need bigger injectors to support higher HP numbers, but injecotrs dont create HP on their own... Think of them as your potential HP
In modding our NA 2.4 we're getting up there in IDC. So far I think we're at 168WHP and hopefully will be higher after some intake manifold work. We swapped out for 33's which were 42% larger.

those will be good for big NA builds, nitrous or non IC low boost setups. We also have 40 and 60# injectors on the site and use them in some of our 2.4L turbo kits.

The stock 2.4 doesn't need larger injectors but as we release more NA mods, it will. We're in the 80's for % of available IDC and the PCM doesn't allow 100% based on a table which controls how late the injectors can stay open. We're close to needing larger injectors and with the new intake manifold we're working on, we'll need them then. Keep in mind the stock 24# injectors are 1/3 smaller than the stock 2.0 injectors. The 2.0 puts down 210WHP stock and the 2.4 we're at 168WHP (modified).
well the injectors were pretty much a gift so cant complain and im going to be adding more mods in a few months so i will need them. so with a intake, header, no cat, 90shot wet how much hp should i have to the wheels?

Oh and for you Nitrous set up Bull'ss of you are running a Wet kit you already have the extra fuel when you set up your nitrous shot.
While I had my Ion I was sitting at 186WHP on a mustang dayo with my highest IDC at 89%. Once you get past bolt on's then I could see adding the injectors.

bear in mind, i've got a set laying around as well, so, if i was gonna get the car tuned, i figure that i'd slap them in just for fun, but i wouldn't run right out and get them just because...
how hard is it to swap injectors? would it help to upgrate injectors and fuel pump if you are on nitrous? would tuning be needed? or would the 80% (stock) vs 80% (larger) be more fuel by default?
