the wiring and tuning would take the longest. Physical install of the intake manifold and SC should take an hour tops.

LIES!! that intake mani is a bitch. and pending on rather or not he has to drill and tap the intake bolt holes for larger bolts or not. if he has all the tools he needs handy. how good he is with this stuff. i say 2 1/2hrs min.

the manifold is easy, just pull the alternator off, takes 2 minutes.

i was scared to take mine off when i dud my dual pass on friday, but it ended up being crazy easy, it was the plumbing that was hard.

We just did the install last weekend. We started at 8:30 on saturday night, worked all night till we ran into a problem. We didn't have the right bolts for the lower mount, so we were kind of stuck untill the hardware store opened at 8. We went out got the bolts at 8 started working on it, had some issues, lots of down time, some nap time, eventually got it all put together and started it up at around 6 p.m. I think. Waited for the guy to tune me, when he showed up we started tuning my car at about 12 a.m. and finished at 2 a.m. The tune isn't a 100%, but it's driveable for now.

6-12 hours for all of it, depending upon mechanical inclination and number of beer breaks

mine took one day for all install parts and all the problems that i faced... the wiring is easy if u know wat ur doing and the bolts for the lsj manifold is bigger so u have to figure something out to fit those or use ur old ones somehow like i did, and ur tensiner might be in the way of the block so u might have to grind that down, there's more problems than that u face but if u know wat ur doing or have help with some one u could have ur beast running by the end of the night like midnight or even the next morning if u get arguvated with the **** but best of luck... p.s. do ur research before u start anything fyi..

^^^ exactly what he said. Having a dremel will help A LOT with grinding down stuff to make things fit. We had some fitment issues on different things with my car since the engine is pushed forward more I guess. Nothing the dremel couldn't fix though

So, all being equal, if it is two guys (one having basic car knowledge, and the other being a very skilled engine guy with motor swaps and a turbo build to his name) what is the initial difficulty on this..? I mean, there's obviously the initial gathering of the parts, but once you have them all, I would ned it done in either one really long day, or over a weekend.. Preferably a long day.. The kid I'd do it with has done a bunch of engine swaps in Hondas (including his own) and has also done a few turbo builds (including his own).. And I know how to do basic things.. Could it be done without too much hassle..? I mean, it seems like you're basically just doing some bolt-on type things and some wiring.. Then obviously a tune.. Is this about right..?

Yeah, it's relatively easy as long as you know how to do the wiring and read the how to's from hunter and beck
