GM Does not make a supercharger kit for the LE5. From what I remember back in my JBO days, GM produced a S/C kit for the LD9. The old Z24 cavalier engine, which also happened to be a 2.4L 4-banger...

i was thinking, couldnt you get the s/c parts from a 2.0 and throw them on the 2.4? like intake manifold, s/c, H/E, injectors, all that stuff, would it work? and then do a tune.

By the time you're done with all of that, you might as well have bought a turbo kit or created one yourself. The M62 really isn't that efficient. The only reason GM used it is because it is very reliable at low boost. I wouldn't waste my time on an M62. You are so much better off looking for an aftermarket turbo kit. I think Tag or someone made a kit for the LE5 on the solstice. Look into that to see if it would fit in the Cobalt...

May want to get ahold of SpeedMafia and see if they'd be willing to work w/ you on a Procharger kit for the 2.4. I know he wants to get something for the 2.4s so would be worth a shot for ya i'm sure.

I was wondering when someone was going to give a centrifugal a whirl. I think it could make for a pretty sweet setup for the guys that don't want to go turbo...

i'm HOPING to get the procharger system done this summer.. it looks pretty awesome to me, one of my friends with a redline is going for a turbo swap in 3 weeks. and he's trying to sell me his m62 and all the hardware, but with how in efficient it is i don't know if it's worth it for me depending on the price of installation... however... I'll do a little thread whoring and say that if any 2.4 is interested in it since he's going to be selling it for cheap (You'll need a shope that will install it< however if you're near me a know a place that's looking to do it.. ) if you want any more information PM me.
