Thinking of rebadging for rep...

I wasn't gonna rebadge until I got into some races and won where the guys didn't even seem surprised. My car looks really close to a 2.0 supercharged and I'm sure thats what people think it is. I was thinking of getting a turbocharged badge from a sky redline and/or a 2.4 badge from the g5. Let me know what you think. Right now I just have the stock badges with the bowties painted red.

Anyone with photo skills feel free to show us what this would look like.

take all the badges off. Anyone decent enough to be really impressed by the turbo and what it took to get a turbo in a cobalt will know the sound of the turbo and wont need a badge

I would put the turbocharged badge on it. People are going to hear it anyways!

Clean off everything and replace them with just a 2.4 badge

put the cobalt SS back on the same place and put the 2.4 badge from the saturns next to it
or on the other side.
then when u BOV people will understand the amount of work it took to make that 2.4 a **** car!!

The new HHR's will have turbocharged badges that are very similar to the supercharged badge - that'd be a good fit.

Another good idea, talk to Bill about getting a Hahn logo badge for your trunk? Either that or get your 'disco potato' badge designed.. I'm sure you can be creative with that .

I would badge it. Hey man i don't know if you know this or not but you don't have to take badges from any car. Just go to "Badgeit.com." You can have them spell out anything you want. The badges are chrome just like the ones that say cobalt on the back of your car. Thats just some info i thought i might share with you, save you from calling up dealerships and asking for the badgets.

His car is a Recirc setup that is emissions legal. Its is very quiet with no BOV noise.

Honesetly you may want to look at a different style of wing.. like maybe the low-pro spoiler from RK, I know it's not for everyone but it's certainly different.

I'd keep the ground effects.

Start by chopping down a tree.....

Click on "forum Jump" at the top left and choose the forum you want to post in. Just above where it says "threads in forum" there is a button "new thread" click on it and start your new post.

Yeah that goofy ass SS/SC wing is why they think you have an ss/sc. A big Red R and mabie an upside down acura logo will make people think your the standard Rice Boy and may dupe a few people into beleiving its just a 2.4 with the SC wing. Me personally ide lose that wing all together and go wingless mabie get an LT badge that would give that shocked look your looking for from the next guy you race.

Hell, even w/o the high rise, people still always still say "supercharged, right?" when I show them my car or if someone asks me about it while I'm out and about. When I say no I typically get "then why does it have SS badges?"........and I have to explain it once again. I don't think I've met one person (asides from other Cobalt owners) that I haven't had to explain the car to. Everyone (at least out where I live) sees the SS badges and assumes it supercharged. Most people haven't even heard of the 2.4SS in my area. There are a handful of other 2.4's out here, and I'm sure they get the same questions all the time like I do........

Low-pro or high-rise......that damn "SS" badge is gonna make the idiots think your supercharged. The high-rise just fuels the fire.

Keep it simple. On the trunk lid to the lower right hand corner SHOULD be 2.4T.
