i think the tires are rated to 126 and thats what i saw one time, then 130 but could have been the speedo off or the downhill

i agree i cant seem to crack the 135 mark..always stops around 133 or so.
( i try once a week...sunday mornings around 5am on I85N)

edit: a tires speed rating indicates the speed it can safely maintain and not shreed or explode...if i took a 90mph rating tire and took it to 130 and backed off id be safe no prob.....but if i decided to make a run for florida from north carolina at 130 no way would i even make it out of north carolina without blowing a tire

Then again, I have a fairly quick SS 2.4L. I took my friends SS/SC off the line and all the way through 2nd gear. He's stock except for a big ass muffler. Once he hits third though, its bye bye watchin his ass! Just need a better exhaust and I'll be outrunning him.

I was pissed. They didnt tell me when I first got the car because they knew I'd hurt him. It was a graduation gift to say the least. A replacement for trading in my wrangler and civic.

Only if you have spray, and quite a bit of spray at that.

HPTuners says the first limiter is at 129 and the second is at 129 as well. Although there is a value of 140 set for the limit and resume in the speed limiter 2. Its confusing. I'll try and take a pic and post it. Something interesting I see though, the source can be calibrated or use GMLAN as a source.....whatever that means...

I've had mine up to like 115 or 120 but I think I read somewhere that the limiter is about 130. I've never had the need to go that fast so I couldn't be for sure.

I dont know why but I can ONLY reach 121. It is REALLY pissing me the F off. Any help??? Shifting to 5th is practically useless too, I start to lose speed when that happens.
