I'm not sue if this was discuss or not but my t/c is been coming on a lot lately any idea why does it come on?

Because you superchaged an auto and your car is overly excited??

Seriously though, maybe you just use HPT to permanently disable that garbage. Us manual tranny guys live life without it.

if you click it 1/2 clicks..it'll turn your T/C off.

^^ Do that and the car will perpetually beep at you. I know my Cavy does, I can't imagine they removed such a feature for the Balt.

mine does that too, and the abs light comes on also. and the tranny shifts really hard.

only during the winter and in snow..... the cobalt got all sorts of confused and the T/C almsot killed me hundreds of times, just taking normal turns

only 08 and up got the T/C button

Pulling up handbrake will get annoy coz the car will yell at you non stop....Hp tuner disable is the way to go

my 08 lt doesnt have a button either, i can either click the hand brake or put in in L, in the winter i almost died a lot too lmao, i get no power and put the pedal the floor and nothing happens, then out of nowhere it hooks up and OH SHITTTT lol after i turned t/c off, my problem is avoided

Search the Problems and Sevice forms. I believe there is an update to the ECU for that issue. My car was doing the same thing.

My '05 is doing the exact same. It's an automatic as well. Of course I have no T/C Off button...so I guess I will need to take it to the dealer and let them rape me to reprogram ECU?
