Vids.

I looked on YouTube and searched here. Maybe I missed it but does anyone have a video of their 2.4 with a different muffler and over the axle piece. Just want to hear the sound of it. I don't have the money for a header or down pipe. Just looking for a good sound.

Thanks

Trey

Thanks blue Balt, but when they say exhaust, what are they meaning. Full exhaust header and back, just muffler. That's what I never have understood. Everything changes the sound of you car, but that was a nice place to hear different exhausts even tho idk what the full setup is

Juice, I think that sounds pretty nice. I like to have it kinda quiet but also wanna feel more power. Sounds have a way with making your car sound faster even tho it isn't, lol. The gmpp exhaust is 2.25 piping tho isn't it. Wouldn't the stock exhaust flow more since its 2.5 in. Unless the gmpp has a better flowing muffler or something. Idk, that's why I'm on here, to learn what I don't already know

Everything that Iv read has said the 2.4 ss exhaust is 2.5in. ???? And the exhaust goes down to 2.25 at the rear axel

The LNF may have a 2.5 inch exhaust (can't remember) but the 2.4 LE5 does not. Gm is dumb at times but they wouldn't put a bigger exhaust than their performance parts on a stock vehicle.

Ok, so what is this cti over the axel thing then. I'm pretty sure everyone said that the 2.4 ss has 2.5in piping up until the back axel that goes to 2.25. Maybe Iv been reading everything wrong for the last year. Lol anyone else wanna enlighten me on this

I've personally took a messuring tap, dropped the exhaust, and checked. It is 2.5 until the axle and then drops to 2.25. I did a custom 2.5 over axle pipe with an ebay N1 muffler and I sounds great. No raspy at all.

Thanks dee Balt, that's exactly what Iv read about the 2.4ss. Never heard of it having a 2.25 exhaust. Only 2.25 from rear axel and back. Maybe that is a little big for an NA car but 2.5 is what Iv been reading.

Well maybe to big for a NA 4 cylinder.
