what is your budget???
where do you want to start??? performance or looks???

i began with the K&N short ram intake and love it, other people like the injen cold air intake one, is peoples choice.
from there i did some external looks changed. till now....
i just got my turbo kit ordered

so like i said, where do you want to begin with, looks or performance

As long as you are swapping from a coupe to a coupe (or sedan to sedan), the spoilers swap with no drilling required

Seriously? You're going to take a dig at me?

Keep troubleshooting that CEL on your stock 2.4.

i already found the issue, just setting up to get it fixed, atleast i didnt just freak out and get rid of it before even finding the problem, sure i was pissed, but i stuck it out

Mind telling me what exactly was wrong with your tranny again? You know, the one that could you could do full wot pulls in no problem? Oh wait...

OP, whatever you decide to do with your car, when you start moding the mechanical parts, be prepared for something to go wrong. Just something that happens when you start pushing them past factory specs. If your not prepared to fix it, then dont do it, just a waste of time and money

Boost it (Turbo)
Build the internals
Clutch and Flywheel
Coilovers
Wingless
Full Exhaust
Don't waste your money on useless body kits, If anything, get the SS/SC or TC kit.

Yeah I only spent three weeks troubleshooting it, taking it to the dealership and the best transmission shop in town, neither of which could tell me difinitively what the problem was. Their answer was basically that they could replace the transmission for $2500+ but that there was no way to know if that would fix it.

I didn't hear you coming up with any brilliant ideas, either. What does it matter to you anyways what I do with my car? If you want to give it a shot, you can go ahead and buy my M62 kit and have at it yourself.

okay, unlimited, no need to efight, that doesnt help anything, i never understood why people just cant get along and always have to start **** with other people.

i do agree wiith what is stated above, you have to be prepared for what can happen, which is anything when you start heavily modifiying a car, any model any make

no no no. if it was an ss/sc or ss/tc it would be easier to tinker with and less stress and all. but, don't mod it. The money you spend on it will add up and in the end you would wish you just bought an srt4, evo, or sti. Keep the cobalt as a dd and get one of the above. TRUST me you'll thank me later. (not limited to the above, v8's are always fun as well.)

well for start wash out the engine bay and clean it up...get a second valve cover and have it powdercoated and do a switch. then you can get rid of the plastic cover over the engine.... intake....maybe some fluid caps from mrz performance..........maybe color matched wireloom. and rewire loom the engine bay....and or tuck some of the wires so they are a little more out of sight

just start with some simple small stuff like window tint, some aftermarket headlights, an intake, painted calipers, cat-back exhaust(some range from pretty cheap to decently expensive considering the little hp gain), just a few low cost things can make it look and sound a lot better and you can always keep going from there.

so your replacing the transmission? Seeing as taking off the supercharger wouldnt fix the issue because it was acting up without boosting.
