Check out www.TurboTechRacing.com
Also look at other brands, if you would like, other than GMPP, Injen intakes have the best power gain...

The 08sport is basically the 05-07 Cobalt SS(2.4).
Just renamed.
I dont know if the turbo kits will work with the 08's. The computers could have been modified, or other things setup differently. Call HAHN and ask.

I think most of the bad things you've heard are on the 2.2 Jet Chip Modules. My Jet chip module is working fine.
i'm suprised the rep didnt tell you more lol they'll do whatever it takes to get you to buy their products...
i think you should do cams, full exhaust, intake, and a killer tune. that'd put a big grin on your face i think

was looking at gmpp cam and intake but could not find info on gains. and they are expensive.
It was my last "mod", had the I/E already. What it did for the car was get rid of the <4K RPM lag. If your 2.4 is like most autos "getting on it" from a roll the engine seemed to lag until 4K RPM then, like a switch turning on, the engine would scream. With the module it "screams" from "get on it"
. HP and Tq -- I can't honestly say, I just like the increased get-up-and-go.

I have the Stage 1 Part # 10708 in my 07 2.4L -- got it through JEGS (JEGS PN 0561-10708). Took 10 days to ship as they do not keep them in stock -- supposedly they are made when ordered. Stage 2 is 10708S - but I haven't tried one of those....yet.
My previous experience with Jet Chips was their prom for the Buick 86-87 GNs and T-Types -- those worked VERY well on those cars!
My fuel milage decreased a small amount -- about 26.9 average in mixed driving. But I also enjoy the part throttle acceleration bursts -- so that might be the reason

Have you considered a custom, dyno tune in lieu of a chip? A good shop (or just someone who knows HPTuners really well) will be able to give you a much more customized level of performance than would a chip.
Outside of that, certainly header and downpipe should be on your list. The exhaust manifold is fairly restrictive as is the factory dp.
Should you decide for a custom tune, make sure you wait until you are done with all of your performance mods to maximize your set up.
If I were you.. and I were planning to stay N/A.. I'd begin researching what your preferences would be and go for full bolt-ons, then the tune, then call it a day.

look if you want to stay NA, do full bolt ons, a couple mild cams and a good tune. maybe even headwork, depends how involved and how much $ you want to put in it.
But the primary reason I can think of for staying NA would be A) maintaining warranty, B) not spending a bunch of money or C) ensuring stock reliability.
Major engine work is going to kill all three of those.
