WhoLikes Loud???

I personally love my stuff loud and I would like to know what the loudest exhaust you guys have heard. I heard a tag race craft exhaust and that was pretty loud but I don't think they mke it for our 2.4's do they?

My exhaust setup.

To this day I've yet to meet a Cobalt owner in person that hasn't told me I have the loudest Cobalt they've ever heard, lol.

I have a CA header, XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe and the ARK N2 cat-back. Def makes for one loud, obnoxious setup.

I could probally makeit even louder with a more aggressive header, such as the Clear Image long tube, but I'm content with my whole setup.

My exhaust tickets will verify this as well, lol.

mine is by far the loudest... old setup C/A header, 3" dp with cat, 3" side exit exhaust with only a magnaflow universal muffler.
and new C/A 17/8 header, 3" catless DP, CTI 3" catback (resonator melted so now it's just a 3" straight pipe_

Either way, my friends '07 Focus is the LOUDEST street driven 4-cyl w/ a full exhuast (no open header/downpipe or side exit exhaust jazz) I've ever heard period. He has an F2 long tube stepped header and a 2.5" Tru Benz cat-back (no cat, no resonator). Sounds sooooooo sick!

Now its only a matter of time before some says something lame like "Focus.....haha....lame" and then ill stick up for 2 of my best friends Foci. Both are Duratecs and both stay up with my car no problem.

they'll all be loud if you go with no cat and no resonators.

My setup is abnoxiously loud right now. LSJ exhaust mani, LSJ dp, catless, 2.5" catback, OEM srt-4 resonator, fartcan, and the qtp electric exhaust bypass where the cat was. It sounds like a hot rod in person

Loudest car i ever owned was my malibu w/a 350 SB Ram Air paired to a holley street avenger, weiend stealth intake, Full length headders, true duel exhaust, magnaflow muflers and just dumping before the rear wheels with an H pipe tossed in for better scavenging. That cars sound would bring a tear to even the angriest cops eye.

As for cobalts sounding sweet the GMPP touring exhaust sounds nice on the few ive heard lil more throaty. The GMPP Sport Exhaust ive only heard it on one car and it had that standard honda with a TRD sticker Buzz. But it was Loud, not what ide call a pantie moistener though.

Loudest car I ever own was my 99 camaro with headers, no cat and slp loudmouth exhaust. It would seriously hurt your ears if you were anywhere near the back of the car and you reved over 3krpms. Loudest I ever drove was an SS camaro with the same setup, those 2 cylinders make a hell of a difference, lol.

A few questions what exactly does a resonator do? does it just make it more quiete? and what does the High Flow Catalytic Converter do? and one last one if your car is catless do you lose any hp?

a resonator cancels out sound waves of certain frequencies which improves the tone quality of the exhaust, by doing so it does make it quieter.

catalytic converters treat your exhaust to help with emissions, so by high flow i'm guessing they would just be less restrictive

I believe it. A friend of mine has an '03 Mustang w/ headers, no cats, and an SLP Loudmouth cat-back, and that thing sounds nasty!
