i been wondering wut the deff. is on the ss coupe in hp and the defference in the sedan. if any of yall know please feel free to enlighten me

That still wouldn't change the power levels lol It would just make the sedan slower cuz it weighs more

 

They both have the exact same drivetrains (although the Sedan's DP is longer), so I would think that the differences would be minimal and unnoticeable.

I thought it was like 90 lbs. Very minimal.

 

I know the cars are different, but I know on the SS/TC's the sedan is only 3lbs heavier than the coupe. So it can't possibly be that much more on the 2.4's

If that is the equation for horsepower that fat guy would fall under the weight of the car which would = work.

 

horsepower is different then power

power is work/time, horsepower is a different measurement.
also measured in different units of course, hp vs watt/jps (if i remember correctly)

 

You're assuming that the car is moving the fat dude anywhere. It won't make a difference if you have Mary Kate Olsen or Tony Siragusa sitting in the driver's seat if you're strapped to a chassis dyno.

Technicality you are correct to a degree. Load has to do with HP output.

Burp... have your engine check it's cholesterol levels

 

Load is how you measure hp output, not how it's generated.

 

thank you...exactly, Even with the fat ass in the car, the HP/TQ of the engine isn't going to change at all. The only thing that would change is acceleration which has absolutely nothing to do with the original point in this thread

 

so to summarize......fat people don't have souls because they make ur car slow.
