Bought a Cruze 2LT
Just bought a Cruze 2LT. Car is 10x more fun than my cobalt. May not be as quick as my past SS's but the bottom end torque is really nice. 6 speed auto is super smooth, steering is precise, the interior is amazing quality (of that of cars 10x the price).
Maybe with some aftermarket parts and a tune we can hit 200whp or more (GM is saying this is one of the most durable engines they've ever built), it'd be extremely content with that. For now I'm super excited

Sticker was 22k, basic 2LT no extra options besides what came standard with this model (power everything, heated leather seats, premium sound, remote start, etc.)
The really cool part is GM released an Android app that lets me connect to my car via Onstar and send it remote commands. I can start the car, lock/unlock, roll the windows, and turn the alarm on all from my Droid X (cell phone).
I paid a little under 21k with GM employee eva pricing and lack of delivery charges, etc. Not a steller deal but I bet no one is getting a Cruze for cheaper in the next few months at least.
Pictures of interior to come (tomorrow when it's light out). I've got one small pic I'm uploading right now from earlier though, 1 moment

springs, intake, exhaust. eventually. waiting for the support to be there, right now theres like 3 people on the cruze forum lol but luckily since its a global car theres a ton of stuff in korea/europe so all the bigger guys are already on board. pedders is releasing their springs any day now, eibach has some, b&g is onboard. TTR is hopefully supporting the Cruze also. should be fun

more cargo room, bigger trunk, better gas mileage. besides performance man i think its better. i loved my cobalts got holy crap their interiors were cheap and tacky. always loved GM and i'll never drive anything else. Not bashing on any cobalts at all man, i loved them, but when you get in and drive this car, it's a whole different experience
