I know this has been posted all around, and something similar has been posted about the Z Spec Package. Well i was at World of Wheels in Boston last Sat. and GM Performance Division was there with:

Camaro SSX
Corvette SSX
CTS-V Coupe
3500 Silverado Dually
and a Cruze RS ( Looks like a Z Spec)

heres a few pics, the stripes look like a peace color, but they were really almost Hugger Orange




and this was the Camaro, the Piant was Matte white and the hood was Carbon Fiber



Guy at the Show said the Cruze RS should be out within the next year. we shall see, he would say if they would offer more engine choices in the future

Dude I saw a cruze rs at my local dealer the other day it had the 1.4 turbo engine, side skirts with a small dove tail for the wing , red rs badges on the side and 16 in aluminum wheels nothing special really if u ask me

 

Other than a stripe and a top white grille, thats just a normal ltz/rs. It's not the zspec cruze :/

 

i work at a chevy dealership and we have 6 or more. the rs package is nothing more than appearance. front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, spoiler, and wheels. the bad part is that all rs cruzes are auto. only the eco and ls(base) come manual. you have to buy a lt or up to get the rs package.

 

it looks like a normal ltz/rs with a stripe. lol! its probaly about 26,000! we sold one for 27 with heated seats and navigation, they are nice though.

 

yeah that does suck. They look ok but I still think I'd buy the Buick Regal first.

 

the RS Package has always been an Apperance Package. so i dont see what you guys are so upset about.

the regal isnt as fast as you would think, it has the same motor as the ss/tc cobalt but its detuned. they are really sweet looking though, if aftermarket catches up those things will be sick

 

im just upset because they need a sporty looking manual other than the eco. the rs if manual would make me very happy!!!

I got to drive the Regal Turbo about 15 miles, from one of our dealers to another. I was very disappointed, I thought it would be faster. Heavy, AWD, Detuned..it was nothing special. The interior was nice though.

What's SSX?

 

What did you expect from a car that weight close to 3700 lbs. also last time I checked the regal was FWD only.

 

Nope...they definitely make them AWD.

 

So all the car sites and forums that say that the Regal only comes in FWD are wrong then?

Huh. Lol I guess I'm wrong. They were planning on making it AWD but I guess they didn't follow through with it, and I never bothered to check.

 

I think this is incorrect. I think the GS uses the LHU motor.
