Cruze rear suspension on a Cobalt!!

Cruze rear suspension on a Cobalt!!
Didn't see it on the threads, so I figured I'd ask the question. Do you think the rear independent suspension will fit on a 05-10 cobalt? I'd love to try it.
I saw one at a car show in Rochester the other day and scoped it out. I like the grill and inside is nice, but what I really want to do is take my 05 and upgrade the rear axle/suspension. It makes sense if GM would use existing parts for the Cruze and all the new innovations would just be bolt-ons to an existing GM part. Or maybe that's just me dreaming I don't know.
