Cruze RS package constraint
So for all of those who are interested or have ordered a Cruze RS like my self, i have some news for you of course we all know full three shift production starts 8/9/10. But if you ordered the RS package you will have to wait tell October because there is a constraint on that package, something to do with engineering changes which will be done by the beginning of September. If you are interested i an trying to get more information and i will post it on here.

So i found out the reason there is a constraint on the RS package is due to the fact that the side skirts are getting damaged on the carrier which carries the vehicle through the assembly, so they are trying to figure a way to get the side skirts on, kinda sounds like they are going to install them after the assembly line. Hope this helps anyone looking for more info.

Well for most of you no, but for those of us who care i just wanted to post this information, since i was the one how provided info through the beginning production of the cobalt ss/tc and was the one who was first to tell people the batch hold was released, i just wanted to share the info. Now personally i am getting rid of my car cause it just isn't practical any more for me. I am getting older and need something that will work for a family if you get my drift and something that is a little more safer.

I understand, before u get rid of it I want you to stand man to man right in front of it and look directly in its headlights and tell it "I failed you" and see how it runs for u the rest of the time u have it.

Yes the RS package is the front and rear fascia, the side skirts and a different IPC cluster. Yes it does come with the 1.4l turbo

Ahhh it will be ok. I never really drove it hard out of the 17000 miles i would say 50 miles are hard, i sit in stop and go traffic all the way home and to work. Thing still runs like a champ and i am treating it better cause i dont want anything to happen to it before i trade it in.

That is one thing i am wondering, not that i will be buying them, but why is this engine not direct injection, just seems inefficent, but the injectors are going to be one of the major issues to gaining more power out of these engines.

I like the cruze! If they came out with a 300hp SS I would be in! Right now I'm watching the Buick Regal GS because i'm very interested in the AWD+ power, heck I have even considered a 2011 chrysler 300C AWD.

Carrier damage to RS side skirts resolve. Finessing fit and finish where fender, rocker and door come together so that there are no gaps in fit. Also RS getting different badging than what was originally planned. No major issues with RS, just making it better.
