Compared to your tuned irl what did you expect? It's probably got 100 less HP.

The interior is very much better than that of a Saturn Ion designed in 2001.

The interior is miles ahead of the cobalt and even the ion. Especially on an LTZ...heck even the LT my girlfriend got has an interior that i would kill for in my Cobalt. Is her car even mildly as quick as my car? No...it's not supposed to be either. I'll be getting her car tuned in the spring though just because

I own a cruze and it blows the cobalt and ion away all day. ride is great nice and quiet and comfortable. Performance isnt there from the factory. but when vince tunes it, its faster than stock ss/sc all day. they are pretty weak from the factory

BULLSHIT. I want to see a video of it. I doubt that pos Cruze can beat a Honda Civic.

uhhh..better think about that again

youre not going to make a 138 HP car with 3300 lbs beat a 205 HP car thats 2800 lbs.

that 07supercharged guy had his with full bolt ons and tuned with e85 and couldnt get into 14s

Needs the "Driver Mod" FTW

Guy is claiming he puts about 220whp on a tune only pretty much. That's what would make it possible to beat an SS/SC.
ZZP barely broke 200whp with lots of parts+lots of tuning.

Gdubs Cruze=JOKE No way a Cruze only tuned pulls on a stock Cobalt SS.

Wait, maybe he beat a 2.4 or the guys he raced was laughing to hard to push the pedal down.

A bolted and tuned Sonic turbo might be able to keep up with or beat a stock SS/SC simply because it's lighter. But a Cruze? Absolutely not. It's not meant to perform. It's meant to be comfy, quiet, and get good gas mileage at a reasonable price.

Can I add FULL BOLTED and AGGRESSIVE TUNE. Without upgrading the turbo I feel it's not going to beat one at the drag or at anything past 80mph.

Sonic stock:
0-60: 8.1sec
1/4miles: 16.1sec.

But it would beat a SS/SC........IN MPG

Well yes that's what I meant. Fully bolted and tuned one may be able to keep up...win? No...Keep up? Probably. When the Sonic RS comes out with its more aggressive gearing, fully bolted and tuned, it will probably pull a bone stock LSJ.

Mmmm. And a Refined exhaust system. Be interesting to see. But being we're on CSS, what LSJ is bone stock anymore?

I'm going to test-drive a Sonic within the week now. Just to get a look see.

the cruze is not a performance car at all. it blows the cobalt/g5/ion away in comfort and ride quality. i love driving our cruze it is such a smooth ride and has all the luxuries of a high end car (keyless entry, push to start, heated seats, remote start, back up sensors and blah blah)

OH boy. I don't think we were debating the interior quality at all here. Only it lack of performance. Stay on topic or GTFO.

Take off your ****muffs and read he stated that the interior isn't much better because its just cloth over plastic. I can't agree with him more. While is defiantly a slightly upgraded interior than the G5's cobalt, ect. It still is GM's **** GARBAGE INTERIOR BUILD QUALITY. GM needs to get their heads out of their asses and actually make nice non FAKE interior cars.

Sorry but the interior in the cruze is miles and miles ahead of the interior in the cobalt/g5/ions. The interior is as good as ANY car in its class. Honda's is the same its been for years, hyundai's is nice but not better, same with ford. Also why does everyone compare it to the SS or redline. Those are performance cars this one isnt, it should be compared to base models (ls, lt, ltz).

I think its compared due to its power to weight in the hatch and its a 6-speed with a turbo. However, it should be compared more to the 2.2 models of cobalts and such. The RS in 2013/2012 will have to be compared to the SS/Redline's.
