I'm actually gonna be running the stock LSJ map sensor for mine.Already have the sensor, just need the pigtail, then im gonna wire it up to read iat2's as well.I also found out that our stock MAP sensors only read up to 2.7 PSI max.I have the "Torque" app on my phone and used my buddys bluetooth obd2 plug and looked at all the PID's and map pressure only read 2.7 psi.

ok i understood the logic of what ur saying just dont know specifcs about how our MAP reads. when you do this are you gonna do a how to? PM when u get this done

The standard GM latemodel 2 bar map will go in the hole in the stock manifold on the 2.2 and plug right into the stock connector. It looks like this.
Home » Shop » Sensors » Pressure Sensors » 2 Bar Late Model GM Style Map Sensor This isnt the best price but it give you all the data you could ever want about the sensor. |
Do you know what vehicle would use this facotry if any?Or is this aftermarket only?

Not off the top of my head. I bet google knows.

The LSJ map for the blower manifold is different. Oh and supposedly the map that goe sin the blower is actually a 2 bar map. But I have never gotten a confirmation on that. |
in 2007 they changed.I tried putting the stock 2.2 map on top of the blower and no go.2007 up stock 2.2 map is the same diameter and the lsj.I just remembered the 2.4 map I have is 2006,so im assuming they changed on the LE5 as well.

so i can get the 2.4 2 bar map from zzp and hook it up to my charge piping?
