Adding turbo to a stock LS
ok heres the deal I have a stock 06 Cobalt ( manual) i jsut baught Now im just asking if any one has done this yet I sure some one has to have converted this car to a turbo. but if you have or now some one that has. what was the results were they happy with it ? I looked into it a little bit and its going to cost me around 5000 to 8000 to do it the right way. But at that point im comming close the the cost of a car that already has a turbo on it. so i guess im jsut wondering if the cost will be worth it and will it bring the car to life like i expect it to.
It has a few mods on it when i bought it CAI Exhaust And im not sure if it has been tuned or not. I do know its running rich as hell you can smell it lol. but im still getting like 34 to 36 Highway and it will pull away from another stock LS not drasticly but its defenatly faster. so i dont know it the CAI and Exhaust is doing it or if it has been tuned
I do konw it is trowing codes like crazy MAS O2 Catylayic converter and a few others that i cant remember.
now some moron was not paying attetnion when he cleaned the filter and used the KNN filter cleaner on the filter squirted it out and then soaked it with oil then when i was ready to put it back on i noticed that the filter said DRY so i baught a new filter yester day to see if it takes care of some or any of the codes. afte that Im going to start replacing sensors and see what happenes
