anyone running straight meth?

ok so i recently got the snow performance stage 2 kit for the balt and after install and tune i seem to be using alot of methanol. the 2 quart resevour is empty after about three days. i know some might say to keep my foot out of it but thats just it, i don't drive my car hard. except on weekends and even then i don't drive it real hard. i went to the track the other day and made 4 passes and didn't use hardly any. it just doesn't make sense. i was told that if i change the start voltage to a higher setting that it would help. but the damn dial doesn't have a make to tell me where its at right now. so i don't know where to take it. any help would be awesome. thanks

i am running straight methanol by the way.

Are you spraying before or after the throttle body? If after, make sure you have a check valve that is actually working.

Distilled water cools the temperatures better than Methanol, hence why most run a 50/50 mix. To get the best lower temps and increased octane rating.

Don't run straight, run 50/50 and my god, how are you running through that much in 3 days. It takes me like three weeks to go through 2 quarts. I think you have it kicking on to early or have a bad leak somewhere.

see that is what i think also. but like i said there is no indication on the dial as to where its at now. where do you have yours set at if you don't mind.

and i just may have to go to a 50/50 mix. cause that **** is expensive. but the reasone that i went that way was because water is corosive and don't like the idea of putting water in my motor. but i guess if its distilled......

and i am spraying it into the intake before the TB

I have a devils own controller, so I just control it with my knobs, I don't no about yours though? I spray at 8 psi and 100% at 12psi

Water will not hurt anything. The nozzles atomize it. There is no where near enough water to cause damage.

water is one of the products of gasoline combustion. Don't worry about water injection, meth can cause more problems than water. go 50/50

I run the snow performance stage 2 kit on mine...no MAF controller right, just the boost switch right?? I'd check wat nozzle size you had in first. Second I only have my kit come in about 2 psi before max b/c I dont have the progressive controller but I really dont need it b/c at WOT it instantly got to max boost pretty much ya know...snow performance recommends having it come in like that when you dont have the progressive controller...

Also, idk how much u beat on your car but mine usually last me a couple weeks and I'd say I get on it about 4-5 days outta the week maybe once or twice a day..."spiritied" driving at times on the way to work...

mine is ran off of MAF so i don't know what the deal is with that. but i can change at what voltage it starts coming on at. i am making small changes to see if it helps.
