and I hate leaving things unfinished thats why I"m trucking along on this damn car. Hope to fix it tomorrow morning, still have the nitrous and meth injection to install but all in due time, still need to break the motor in anyway. Have one more spare motor for the car and once thats used up I"m done lol.
but yeah this is my last few months working on others cars for a while. Taking at least 6 months off may be permanent who knows.
still have the trans am in my garage I need to finish also, so much work and no time to do it.

 

well tomorrow came and passed lol

 

it rained all day. car is in my driveway and don't want to have the motor opened up while it's crappy out.
garage space is taken by the real car lol. (and the snowblower etc )
might start on it tonight if this damn rain stops. if anything I"ll knock it out this weekend. crank bolt is a bit iffy so really don't want to try and take it out again. may end up having to replace the crank.

 

finally had some time over the weekend, she is a runner. 190 miles on the new motor already since saturday and it fells pretty good. wideband took a dump so not wot tuning til the new sensor comes in.
now just a few odds and ends to tie up and it's good to go.
left to install:
wire up rest of co2 spray bars
install both nitrous kits
tie rod end on pass side, and alignment
put ac back in..... must put ac back in lol
tune
profit

And just got rear ended. Great way to end a joyous day. Car doesnt run think maybe fuel pump canister shifted from the impact. ******* nyc cab drivers.

body damage isn't that bad, underneath is bent up a bit. have to drop the tank since I think my pump was knocked loose in the impact. had to tow the car last night since it won't run.

nope, guess I've lost my touch. usually everything with this car is straight forward and quick.... this has been long and drawn out and starting to lose faith in the car

 

it feels the neglect lol .... trans am and wrx are taking all your time away from it.
