theoretically couldn't you pulley it to where it runs a direct stock motor. obviously it would be an even bigger pulley than stock on the m62 but make it flow the same amount of air but with less boost.

of course then there wouldnt be much point of doing it but again its just a theory :)

Kibosh3 03-12-2008 11:49 AM

how about a stronger clutch? lol

all that shit like a clutch and axels is all on how far u want to push it..we cant make a list for everyones expectations..all were going to do is tell u what is a min to run this thing...after that its up to u how far u want to push it

i think you would see gains from the efficency increases alone

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 11:54 AM

your going to have to run more fuel though, stock injectors are maxed from the factor. If your running more power your going to need more fuel.

redlineblueline 03-12-2008 11:55 AM

well yeah thats a given

Raven SS 03-12-2008 11:57 AM

42's is all u need lol

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 11:57 AM

haha on a 3.8 pulley

redlineblueline 03-12-2008 11:59 AM

yo paper plate pulley

Raven SS 03-12-2008 11:59 AM

i dunno man im thinking 60s are going to be enough...my boys 2.7 car is pushing the 60s to 55-60% idc at wot

redlineblueline 03-12-2008 11:59 AM

or a pie pan for the bling factor

i was running 84% on my 2.5. my car was not normal though lol. this thing is going to push serious power. i am worried about my head gasket thats all really.

Raven SS 03-12-2008 12:02 PM

so ur going to run it with 60s? i have the gm performance head gasket....my cometic didnt get here in time but it will be fine..when i do my fuel system i might switch them out

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 12:03 PM

At first im going to try it, if not i am switch to another sized injector and maybe a different pump. its all up in the air until then.

Raven SS 03-12-2008 12:04 PM

i think im going to end up re-doing the whole fuel system..fucking sucks

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 12:05 PM

Yeah tell me about it.

Raven SS 03-12-2008 12:06 PM

but actually if u run a return style system u dont need the big injectors

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 12:08 PM

Im thinking of dabbling with e 85

Raven SS 03-12-2008 12:09 PM

91 for me...with water and methanol

lsjwannabe 03-12-2008 12:12 PM

93 and meth over here

Kibosh3 03-12-2008 01:44 PM

ok...so again...who will be closest to stock internals out of all the testers? if so, list what mods u will have by the time the new blower will be put on the car....just for clarification :)

thanks!

He was talking about supporting mods on stock internals.
