Lsj + mp90 supercharger
BIG SHOUT OUT TO EUTHANASIA FOR MAKING THIS PROJECT HAPPEN.
Roots Blower MP90 1.475L
I will dyno it at the same place I layed down 247whp/228wtrq on a m62 2.7 setup. As soon as I get a 3" pulley in and spin the mp90 to 14k @ 22-23psi I'll dyno it.
Start up
---
Spin 2nd @ will? Sure why not!? - (10.5-15* timing advance in the midrange)
3.2 pulley @ 20 psi by 6000 rpm
IDC 78% on a 7gph 80/20 mix by 6500 rpm
IAT2 @ 135* by 6500 rpm
3.0" pulley @ 22+ psi by 5100 rpm
IDC 85% by 6500
IAT2 133-135* by 6500
IAT1 94 by 6500

same length snout that is on all mp90's (looks like a different snout)?
you needed an adapter plate for the intake correct?
did the TB bolt on or did you need an adapter plate for that too?
a couple people posted their sucess with the mp90, but never told us what was really needed........ I bet it did cost a pretty penny though, unless you bought the mp90 off craigslist.

It spins second @ will w/ minimal timing
butt dyno approves
I'll prob make a quick clip of it tonight
If I recall the MP90came originally w/ a 10" snout. I think the one I have on it is a 7 or 8".
Yup a custom adapter plate was created to bolt this down.
Notice that black tube, it bolts up a LSJ/LS4 tb
Paid a total of $650 for almost all new parts. Only used items were the tb adapter, snout and pullies; though they were like new.
