Ok well im on the long road of building my s/c kit.

I already got the two main things, the m62 s/c and LSJ intake manifold.

Things i still need:

Intake Manifold Bottom Mount
2.5 Bar Pigtail
Bosch/LSJ Intercooler Pump
Intercooler Pump Wiring Pigtail or Butt Connecters
Intercooler Pump Mounting Bracket
Cobra Heat Exchanger
Cobra Heat Exchanger Brackets
60# Injectors
Injector Harness
Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge
Boost/Vacuum Gauge
Stage 2 Belt
Custom Idler Pulley with Mounting Bracket
Extended Upper Radiator Hose
Coolant Reservoir Tank
NGK Copper Spark Plugs
Stock pully = 3.34 and maybe a 3.0

If anyone has some parts they would like to sell me let me know.
And let me know if anyone has some good info for me or anything.

no not right now i need more green $, but over the summer i might rebuild my motor, and then it could be p&p.

 

nice nice..i cant wait to see the finished project..im still decideding if i want to go t/c or s/c..or keep my car at the end of my payments..who knows..must just buy something already s/c or t/c or a new camaro

 

yeah its hard, but never ending. I just think of it this way, im going to be the first 2.4l s/c sedan thats auto and that puts a smile on my face.

Why rebuild your motor? you wont make enough power on the M62 to blow it, but you could make enough heat. make sure you have all the cooling mods to go with it and you can make some nice numbers without having to touch the motor. Good Luck on the build, cant wait to hear it through.

 

Ohhh I can't wait to see this..gotta show the 4door love.But, mine is a 5 spd..

thanks, but the reason is because im going to just stick with the m62 for a couple of months and see what i can get out of it then im going to spray, 1. to see how much the motor can handle, 2. i plan on hitting 12's, 3. me and my dad wanna rebuild the motor cause he has nothing better to do( he is retired, and had a storke so he cant work) and we want to do something togeather before he passes away. maybe i can use some of his money since he wants to work on it with me.

 

You could easily run 12's on the stock motor tho. Im just thinking along the lines of "if it aint broke, dont fix it." But thats cool and I hope you guys spend a lot of time together. Even better when its your car that brings you two together =P

I wouldnt worry about building the motor so much as Id worry about heat. Also you wont see a difference between a stock 3.34 pulley and a 3.30 pulley. Goodluck on the build tho

 

yeah im not building the motor till after the s/c and spray, dont worry im going to try and do everything i can about the heat.

 

hey guys.. im stuck right now. im also doin the 2.4 supercharged but i cant get ahold of rebel for **** to get that custom idler puller or the intercooler pump mounting bracket.. its frustrating me

Does anyone know the part # on the intake manifold bottom mount? or where to get it? besides rebel cuz im not paying 600 $.

 

why didn't you go turbo? just curios.

 

got a good deal on the s/c and intake manifold, + going turbo is like 2k more and im only 17 and dont have that kinda cash laying around. or else i would love to.

Does anyone want to take a lil vacation / trip to fl in say a month or so? lol could sure use some help with the s/c and all the ****.
