Wink Stage 2 upgrade and a jumpy front

I have recently put the stage 2 injectors, GM approved, on my 2006 cobalt ss, I have a lowing kit already, when I accelerate quickly the front tires start vibrating or jumping. My son, who has been upgrading several cars (Jetta etc.) says I need different motor mounts because the factory stock give more and they don't hold the torque on the engine with the upgrade. Is this possible? If so are there new mounts I can order that are GM approved?

It's wheel hop. There's no mounts that are GM approved (that I know of). Let off the gas when this happens unless you want snapped axles and a cracked transmission bellhousing that GM won't cover under warranty. Search about, theres tons of info how to launch these cars and on how to fix the hop as well.

Around June or so GM should (finally) have a new set of axles out for the LSJ cobalts that is inspired by the LNF cobalt axles and they are supposed to eliminate wheel hop. If you're patient then those should alleviate the problem.

Stiffer trans mounts help a lot, a motor mount helps more in conjuntion with the trans mounts, but you can find a set trans inserts and a motor mount at TurboTechRacing.com , or ZZPerformance.com for fully replaceable polyurethane billet aluminum mounts.

thats why i'm holding off on all aftermarket traction mods. I was told its the same axle as the LNF, but different spline and length due to their different knuckle configuration.
