Thumbs up treadstone air straightner..... a++++

Alright, so first off ill start off why I used it.

2008 hhr 2.2 fully built, 60s, walbro 255, tvs 2.6 , header downpipe , methanol 10gph and a custom Cai routed behind bumper cover.... Well first off the intake is a 3in but the car was getting to much bypassed air, so we had it go down to a 2.5 where the maf was. Well that still had skew trims, and would never get the correct percentages. So i asked the owner of the vehicle to purchase a 2.5 air straightner from treadstone so I can get unskewed trims.

So I had him purchase it. I assumed id be able to get trims down within 3 logs. Well ill put it this way from the base to now its taken 1 to get trims at 6% from 18% which it would have taken me quite a few logs without straightner..... So i highly recommend it to anyone.....
Ecspecially if you are a full on custom build.

Nice!

I've had one sitting around I bought from cmiller a while back now. I wanted to try installing it before the MAF in my K&N SRI, but got scared to death I wouldn't find a good enough way to mount the thing to keep it from getting ingested or something.

Install it in the actual piping. Cut the pipe about a inch or so from maf and put comb in there make sure you epoxy it good.. and put a coupler over it.... Epoxy epoxy lol..

The Treadstone MAF Straightner is one of the first things I bought before I installed the Dejon SRI. Wasn't sure if it was worth the money or not...gload to hear that it is!

What kind of tranny does an auto HHR have? Is it the same as the auto 2.2L/2.4L Cobalts?

2 questions. I just got BYT tuned a few days ago. If i install this air straightener should i get retuned or do you guys think I'll be good to go? Also, i have the k&n SRI, does anyone know offhand what size air straightener would fit best?

Will it hurt anything if i don't get my tune tweaked for the airflow straightener right away? I'm assuming not but I've been wrong before. Haha

My trims aren't exactly steady how it is. They'll bounce around +/- 10 or so. Do u think it would make it worse?

Did u get tuned for the Sri? If you did your trims should be close to 3% most of the time.
