Thumbs up Tvs help

OK so here is the deal im running the TVS with the 2.75 pulley and for one reason or another when doing pulls in third gear right around 3800rpms I hit a wall... What im saying is at 3800rpms my car is making 20psi and just stays there through the rest of the pull... I have no clue why its doing that but the map is good, the timing is good, the atf is good, my temps are good, belt is tight, no leaks, and the all of things have been check many times... Im just trying to see if anybody else hase any ideas for me to check or maybe you live close enough to me where we could meet up only if you have vast exp with the TVS..

MODS becasuse i know someone is going to ask...

timing 26
atf 11.3
3in intake
stock TB
meth
built bottom end
dual pass and h/e
full exhaust

If you need to know anything else please ask me... Im going back on the dyno in a day or two so any help would be great..

nooby here, but i wonder if maybe getting the LS4 throttle body would scort more air in allowing it to fully boost in the higher gear? just a complete guess.

I don't have the LS4 and I hit peak boost just fine with almost the exact same mods, no built bottom end and substitute e85 for meth, throttle body shouldn't be the issue.

Just 3rd? Not 4th or any other gear?

You really need to log the car when it happens and post it. We can't magically diag a car.

By de-tuned I assume you mean bleeding off boost. You can only bleed boost off in 1st gear. If you tell it to do 2nd gear, it will do it in all the gears.

Also sounds like you might have fuel cut set to 3800 somehow/accidently.

So far, I have yet to find out where its located since you gave it back to dealer. Can't seem to track where it went at all after that.

So your saying if i change the settings for second it will effect the rest of the gears??? and i dont think its the second because its more about the boost not so much as just at 3800 sometimes is 4000 sometimes its 3700 its just when it hits 20psi in third

Yeah, even though HPT has separate fields for each gear, whatever you put in the 2nd gear box will also apply to 3,4,5.

Change 2nd gear back to 100 and try again to make sure.

Nothing really without a log of the car, if your saying the car is actually making 20lbs in 3rd, it probably isn't the only problem. If it was bleeding off boost, it would be making less than 20lbs.

But I figured I would let you know 2nd gear boost control affecting the rest of the gears.

That is the same pulley I run with the car in my sig.

Never really paid attention to boost, but I think around 21-22.

telling the car to make 15 psi in second gear for example will affect the boost in the next gears too from my experience with HPTuners...try taking the limit off

OK so this is were i sit as of today.... Boost gauge is reading 26 or so PSI on third gear pulls... But for some reason there doesnt seem to be any power like the boost is not making it to the motor for some reason..... ATF is good.. timing is good... intake temps are good.. but hpturnes is saying its not making boost into the motor.... So i have no idea what else to check or do... o all the vac lines seem like there good... The only thing I can even think of at all is the supcharger gasket is leaking... or the bypass is messed up.... or hopefully not but the supercharged is messed up some how... Please if you have any input or ideas or things I could check please let me know asap... Thanks for the input guys

Your stock map sensor maxes at ~22.5psi .. hptuners gets its boost signal from the map

Did you use the bypass valve that comes with the TVS or the stock M62 one? If not, you need to use the stock M62 one. I'll call Colin today and talk with him about it.
