Anyone know if the stock '06 headlights will fit in the '07 model? I'm pretty sure it does, but just wanna make sure. Thanks.

 

You are correct sir! They're all the same size, just look a bit different is all.

I have not done it myself, but I do know that people with 05/06's, when they paint their stock housings, they usually take out the yellow reflector and get a, I believe, amber bulb, or something calle da silverstein or something. Its in the how to on painting your stock housings, from what I remember.

But yes, I believe you can just pop out the amber reflector piece.

Yeah , that amber circle piece is easy to get out . Just held in with 3 tabs .

I installed '07 SS/SC headlights in my '06 LS -- went right in.

The '07 SC headlights do not have the yellow turn signal lenses. You can use yellow bulbs or the Silvania SilversStars sold at AutoZone.

I know you can "just" take your '06 headlights apart -- but it is "iffy" when it comes to getting moisture in them so I forked out the extra dough to get factory headlights the way I wanted them

 

Yeah, I'm getting a member to paint me some color matched victory red headlights. He's got a set of '06 headlights and I'm getting him to pop out the yellow part because he'll have it apart anynway. It'll look great.

 

I didn't know there was a difference either... anyone want my '07s? I got black projectors.

Only the SS.SC lamps . The n/a SS , and all the other models still use the brighter chrome with the amber lens .
