I am looking to get my hands on a ss/sc lip. I got my car a few months back and the previous owner must have taken it off because the slits are there for one to be mounted. Anyone know where I can find one already painted black?

pretty hard to find, unless you order it from GM...$392.00. GL

 

i went to my local chevy dealer and they said about 140 unpainted. so go get a can of touch up paint and save the extra 200 bucks!

make sure there not giving you the price for the bumper,,, they might be dumbasses...

 

^^This. I had been quoted over $300 from two different places for mine.
The last guy who gave me a price as low as $150 was looking at the wrong part on his screen

 

same here I havent gotten a quote for anything less than $340.

Hey guys, I am going to talk to my uncle who owns a body shop and see if he can buy the lip and find out how much it will be and will let yall know what he says for pricing and will get back to you

 

If I got one I would paint it myself. The paint is gonna get fucked up anyway and I'll just feel bad about it if I payed for it to be painted professionally.

 

i gave him the part #...unless he typed it in wrong theres no way it didnt show up correct lol...& im not paying 354 for just a lip.

my freind sold me a black ss lip for 20 bucks and no it wasn't broken lol

 

I just rivveted mine back in place but if you guys want I will check to see what I can get new ones for for you

so im a little confused. I just saw a post on here that says you can get an ss/sc "lower deflector" on gmpartsdirect.com for 150.00. this is what the post said "15773839 – Lower Deflector - $150.00". I punched in that part number at gmpartsdirect and it said it was 82.00. ?!?!?! am I looking at the wrong part here? I need an 06 ss/sc front lip (aka lower deflector). I have the slots on my front bumper where it would fit but 82.00 seemed very cheap

 

Lower deflector IIRC is the black plastic piece that goes under the rad.

I believe what you want is called the front lower bumper extension.

 

ah nevermind...that was for the ls model. I found mine on there and it is actually on sale for like 218 which isnt too bad..
