I searched, but couldn't find a definite answer.

I need to replace the lower grill on my 07 2.4. I really like the 08 grills and CED even has a kit to replace the upper and lower grill http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P2238C205.aspx

The listing says that the kit fits the 05-07 SS/SC, but could it also fit the 07 2.4? It looks similar to the grill I have and need to replace.

 

um.....08 ss is turbo. only an idiot would do a s/c swap on an 08 ss

 

Umm..... He never said he had the 08. He has an 07.

 

I'm thinkin' it will fit, because did the SC even have a lower grille to start with? Didn't you have to buy the one for the 2.4?

It will definitely fit. Same bumpers across all SS (2.4 SS and Sport included) models from 05--09.

I have the 2.4 SS lower grille to save my h/e from getting dinged.

 

Mine came with the upper and lower grill. I think all 2.4s do


So it will work. Excellent. Fortunately for me CED is only a 20 minute drive from work. I can pick it up anytime.

all ss grills are the same. 05-09 ss n/a and ss s/c and t/c are all the same bumpers. The only different is the ss s/c and ss/tc have a lower lip when the ss n/a do not.

Yeah I was saying that I didn't think the SC came with a lower grille and that people who wanted one had to buy the one that was for the NA.

If you get the complete CED kit you'll get everything you need. If you buy the lower 08 SS/TC grille separately you NEED the 6 metal clips/retainers too. the TC lower grille is thinner than the 07 SS/NA lower grille it is held in with the clips/retainers. the SS/NA lower grille just snaps in with it's own clips.
