Is this something thats been done quite a bit or are they pretty rare to see because ive only ever seen one with em they just looked awesome.

I dunno, I've never seen them chromed. Alot of other colors have been done.

They're polished. Cheaper, but takes a lot of work to do and you have to keep up with them. As far as I know that's the closest anyone has come to chroming them. Looks pretty good to me. Black chrome has been done, and it looks SEXY.

They are polished and cost about $30 for aircraft paint remover, But plan on 15 to 20hrs of work to get a nice polish finish. Make sure your committed once you start cause its tedious work. Have some buddies over for beers and it will go a lot quicker And the finish stays shiny for over a month and just needs a quick polish to bring back the shine. You could powdercoat clear and it would last for years.. Hope this helps you out and good luck if you do it.

Paint wont have the same reflective qualities as actual chrome.
