10,000k HID is white

10,000k HID is white

Just got them today from 3bspec, there 10k but there white, no blue no purple, just white..

do hids have to break in or something like that? Ive only seen them in the day light btw so that might be the reason.

any help appericated

here they are



not a great pic but you can see that theres no blue/purple to be found, and its 10k

have you let them "warm" up... or get up to color... my HID's take about 30 seconds to fully get up to color...

and the daytime will might have something to do with it...

No my 10k hids are blue from the start. Seen my pics? Of the hid light difference from 6k and 10k. 10k on my hand is blue

the light on a wall looks kinda blue, its just the actual headlight is crystal white

the bulb said 10k on it, ill give pat from 3b a call

that picture is in 100% darkness and it looks the same color from all angles

im just asking cause its really easy to tell HID colors from the front.

top angle we have to deal with the glare off the housing and ****.

Are you running the 35W kit or the 55W kit?

If you have the 55W kit, then there is your explanation.

I don't think so. I put a 6k 55W kit from 3bspec in my girl's car, much more blue than that picture.

yea thats what im thinking although the casing around the bulb said 10,000k
