theres a guy on here with a red cobalt i think with 10k on top and bottom but i couldnt find him....is the 10k from ddm like pure blue? my friend just got his 10k from ddm and it looks like 6 k. We lookd ed it in the day time so maybe thats it idk it doesent look blue at all

Did you guys order 35 or 55 watt kits?

 

i ordered 35 watt because i looked into hid's more and read that 55 watt goes down 1k in color temp

 

more like 2k, but yeah, the higher wattage washes out the color. Regardless, you ordered one of the best kits available. Congrats.

true that. i just ordered DDM 55watt 12K and 35w. 8k fogs. hoping they would match in color. well see though. if not ill put the 35watt on the 12K to rock some purple

 

they are blue, its just that the shitty camera cant keep up with the glare

10k is a deep blue, 12k goes more purple. Hell my 6k HID's have a bit of blue in them

does anyone use a relay kit for the fogs? i have one for the headlights but i wasnt sure if the fogs can keep up with the draw

I've got rid of my 10k, because you never know how local officals law enforcement can be a bunch of ****** about lights looking too blue in your own local and state level. So I switched over to 6000k and they look very fantastic with that diamond white color. Both 35w H7's and H11's.

 

I am running 10K in the headlights and foglights and they look pretty nice , 55 watt kit from vvme, no complaints here !! Install was easy and everything works excellent a month after install :P
