15's or 17's

I have a 2006 LS sedan, and i dont know if i should get another set of 15 inch rims so i dont have to change the tires and i could use the less weight for the track with smaller rims or if i should go with 17 in rims wich would look better but its a lot of money for the new rims and tires

15's smaller, less weight, dont look as good, cheap

17's bigger, more weight, expensive, look good, probably heavier

thanks

i have 17's love em, you will probably just have to lower it, i havent lowered mine yet and it sits alil higher then stock, but id say 17 would look alot better.

get a pair of good looking 5 spoke lightweight rims that are 16's. bc if they are a good name and real light rim people will know youre serious for the track. like ssr's or something.

17's of a decent quality rim are probably lighter than the stock steelies. Also I looked at your signature at your "mod" list lol. 4.5 inch muffler and lotus spolier lol? Less weight at the track shouldn't matter in your LS lol as it is not really a track car, but to each their own.

Don't get aftermarket 15s... that's half-assed and just looks like you didn't save enough money to upgrade.

You can get some simple 5 spoke Centerline's in 17" that weigh 16 lbs /ea. With tires that's 1 lb lighter than the factory aluminum wheels and probably considerably lighter than steelies.
