Hey guys..

Can you use a 2.2 valve cover on a 2.4 motor..? I honestly have no idea.. I figured I'd ask before I mess something up.. Like this:

The reason I ask is because I plan on getting my valve cover sandblasted and powdercoated.. So I wanted to buy a spare cover to install while the other one gets painted.. Then just sell it after I'm done..

i dont htink you can since you have the vvt solenoids

 

Won't work, there are some differences between the two that make them not interchangeable. You have to get an actual 2.4 cover.
